The Shield was a professional wrestling stable managed by Triple H, consisting of Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins. They are three former WWE developmental wrestlers who performed on the independent circuit under various ring names before NXT's first live broadcast on February 23, 2012.
